CJC 2002 Review - My review of Contact Juggling Convention 2002.
In Motion with Michael Moschen
This video will be inspiring to any juggler. The contact juggling section looks great(palmspinners would love it). His butterflies are incredibly smooth. It can be a little pretentious in parts however(the floating ring is oh-so-cool). He is great artist and his CJ balls are the clearest that I've ever seen. 10 out of 10 for style but minus several billion for pretentious thinking.
Contact Juggling by James Ernest
This book is as inspiring to CJers as MMs vid was to jugglers. This is definately a great book. Before I got it, I was unsure about its content so I will list the table contents here:
Foreward; Intro:What is Juggling; Part 1:One Ball -The Butterfly, -Butterfly Transfers, -Isolations, Holds, ans Rolls, -Other Tricks; Part2:Multi-ball and Beyond, -Two butterflies and associated transfers, -Palm circles, -a few other multiball tricks, -Other objects/ideas; Appendix 1: Materials; Appendix 2:3ball cascade/devilsticking; Appendix 3:Understanding Jugging; Glossary; Suggested Reading List.
I hope that "listing" helped you out. The book is a good one.
